Free Support for ISP/Filter issues
As part of the subscription for paid services, we provide some FREE support to help you utilize this services. Here is a description of various things we assist customers with in this support category.
- Proxy settings in Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome
- Setup of dialup connection
- PPPoE setup on PC or Router
- Caylix-provided ADSL not working or slow
- Filter issues (block, unblock, reporting, etc)
- Installed programs not working due to Caylix firewall blocking it
- Email setup for standard programs like Outlook and Windows Mail
- Help with webmail, email forwarding, and vacation messages
- Spam problems such as too much spam or over blocking
- Filter Box installation
Paid support
From time to time, it can occur that your computer, network, or wiring may have a problem beyond our control. For example, if your computer is old, slow, has hardware problems, or has a virus then you may need additional help. You can choose between using another computer technician to fix your computer, or have us handle it for you on an hourly basis.
The idea is that we are happy to support the services that we pay for, but the customer's obligation is to have a working computer and basic computer literacy.
Here are some examples of paid support that we can provide:
- Supporting customer-owned equipment like wireless routers etc
- Software updates, patches, etc for customer-owned equipment
- Virus/Anti-virus problems
- Installing or reinstalling software on your PC
- Computer tuneup and optimization
- Computer slow or crashing
- Printer issues such as missing drivers or errors
- Basic computer training
