    10-digit dialing in Alberta

    Starting September 11, 2008, Caylix dialup customers in Alberta who are still using 7-dialing will need to change their dialup settings to include the 403 area code.

    Chilliwack, B.C., August 9, 2008 - Today, Caylix Internet Inc announced that it became an affiliate member of CAIP in July, 2006.

    Volunteers needed for Caylix site screening

    Are you interested in helping Caylix improve its filter?

    We are looking for several people in Canada to help the Kliksafe filtering team (in the Netherlands). This is to help further increase the quality of the screening process, as well as speed it up.

    Some of the tools we use are only in Dutch, so having at least a basic understanding of Dutch will help. This is not a requirement though.

    Are you a existing Caylix customer? Would you like free Internet services? Earn a $40 credit on your account for every new dialup or highspeed Internet customer that you refer to us!     New Caylix.Com website launched

    We are excited to launch a totally new Caylix website and logo! The site has been rebuilt using a Content Management System. This makes it much easier to keep our website up to date, and more importantly, keep our customers informed. We hope you find it much more useful, informational, and easier to navigate.

    We have tested the website, but please be patient if there are any bugs. Please let us know if anything is broken or with constructive suggestions.

    Bandwidth limits increased

    As you may or may not know, all Caylix connections are limited to how many hours AND/OR or traffic usage are permitted in any given month. Even on a 24x7 highspeed connection, there are limits. This is because a highspeed connection is capable of downloading massive amounts of information in a short amount of time.

    Price list update

    Our price list has been updated as follows:

  • Included amount of bandwidth (in GB) has been increased on all packages
  • Price for extra bandwidth has been decreased
  • We are now charging all extra dialup hours and traffic usage (bandwidth usage). These will show up as extra line items on your invoice.
