Introduction
CFS requires no additional software on the end users' computers or your Windows servers. CFS provides multiple levels of filtering, which are available based on Active Directory group memberships. These filters are designed to provide a secure and functional balance of filtering and firewalling. CFS also allows you to customize your filtering requirements, allowing you to setup additional custom URL filters based on individual needs and requirements.
How can I customize filtering?
The custom filters you create can be attached to either Caylix Safe or Caylix Flexible. If you use Caylix Safe, you can either block pages that exist on our whitelist, or only permit sites that your organization approves of AND Caylix approves of. If you use Caylix Flexible, you can block pages that Caylix doesn't block, or only permit sites that your organization approves of AND Caylix doesn't block. The basic rule of custom filtering is that you can choose a range of safety between "no internet" and whatever is permitted by Caylix Flexible. You can not allow your users to view sites that are blocked by Caylix Flexible.
