Caylix became an affiliate member of the Canadian Association of Internet Providers (CAIP) on July 16, 2008. We are excited to join an organization that is making a strong stand for healthy and fair competition and internet safety. As you can see on the CAIP web page, members of this organization are helping to fund efforts that are very much inline with Caylix's mission: fight child pornography, dissuade monopolistic behavior that stifles competition by small ISPs such as Caylix, and so forth.

As a member of CAIP, Caylix subscribes to and endorses the Code of Conduct.

Some of the items that CAIP is currently working on:
• continued involvement with the Canadian Coalition Against Internet Child Exploitation (CCAICE). This is a multi-sector group co-founded by CAIP and the RCMP and now administered by Cybertip!ca
• working with Justice Canada and the Federal, Provincial, Territorial
• Working Group on Cybercrime to review the need for the mandatory of Internet Child exploitation by ISPs
• continue our efforts to get the federal government to review and implement the recommendations of the Federal Anti-Spam Task Force
• working with Justice Canada and other interested parties in combating hate content online
