AVG doesn't want to update

AVG generally needs proxy settings to be configured before it will work. The steps for this are as follows:

  1. Open the AVG Control Center
  2. Select Tools menu -> Advanced Settings
  3. Go to Update->Proxy
  4. Choose "Use Proxy" and "Manual"
  5. Enter Server: proxy.caylix.com, port 3128
  6. Enable PROXY authentication and enter your @caylix.com username and password

Please see the attached screenshot of the proxy settings for where to look and what to do. If it still won't work after configuring the proxy settings, then kindly contact our support team.
