Caylix, a full-service email and Internet provider, delivers a filtering system based on Biblical principles. We believe that your Internet experience should be as safe and secure as possible. Our goal is to deliver a reliable and and easy to use filter for you, your family, your school, and your business.

Founded by Wim Kerkhoff and William Klaassen in 2005 with the encouragement of Reformed church members, Caylix Internet Solutions (CIS) partnered with a Dutch company called Kliksafe, to use their Reformed-based filtering system for North American communities.

While Caylix maintains good relations with a variety of churches, we are not legally or otherwise tightly associated to any particular denomination. Education and awareness about modern media is the responsibility of each church, school, and family: Caylix only provides one tool to help everyone fulfill their own responsibility.

On December 31st of 2007, William Klaassen resigned as partner in Caylix Internet Solutions due to family and study commitments.

In August 2008, Wim incorporated Caylix as Caylix Internet Inc (CII). Operations and all customer activity was shifted to CII as of September 1st.

Caylix is currently wholly owned and managed by Wim Kerkhoff on a fulltime basis, who oversees the work of the technical support, billing, and marketing teams.

Caylix's operations are managed from its head quarters in Chilliwack, British Columbia, but provides filtered internet services to customers across Canada. We have a collection of routers and servers in Vancouver, BC and London, ON.

The name Caylix is a variation of the word Calyx (kay-liks) - The sepals of a flower, forming a protective layer around the bud.
